Biography
I am the Senior Litigation and Managing Partner of a 102 year old law firm that enjoys a reputation of superior quality in Northeastern New York. I have practiced since 1968 and have been an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of New York, where I was presented with a Special Achievement Award by United States Attorney General in recognition of sustained, superior performance of duty. My present practice consists of trial and appellate work in all State and Federal Courts in New York. I have tried scores of cases to verdict in the United States District Court, Bankruptcy Court, New York Supreme Court, Surrogates Court and County Court. I have briefed and argued dozens of appeals in the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court and in the New York Court of Appeals (the State's highest Court). I do a substantial amount Medical Malpractice litigation as well as other personal injury, real estate, banking and commercial litigation.
