Minor Client v. Mexican Restuarant
Aug 01, 2019OUTCOME: $100,000.00
While playing on the playground provided by Defendant, minor Plaintiff fell from the monkey bars onto flooring that was unreasonably hard and dangerous. Defendant knowingly provided a playground area ... that was not safe for children because of the density of the ground. Complicating this was the fact that the ground was covered with carpeting so as to cause the hardness of the ground to be latent to the user children and observer parents. Additionally, the monkey bars (overhead horizontal climber) were unreasonably high for small children in that the rungs were over seven (7) feet above the ground.
