The client wanted to get a divorce from his spouse, but he did not have much money to spare. Given his circumstances, he had no choice but to divorce his spouse but he did not have a lot of options av ... ailable to him as divorces are typically expensive and very time-consuming. The client came and met with us, and we prepared his strategy. The next day, he and his spouse came in. Since they agreed on most of the issues in their case, we could draft their marriage, settlement agreement, file it with the court, and get them divorced in two days without undertaking most of the stress and turmoil that typically goes along with a contested divorce.
