State of Florida v. Esther B.
Sep 28, 2012OUTCOME: On the day of her change of plea, Sept. 28, 2012, she was sentenced, and had dinner with her family later that same day.
Originally, this client was charged with Drug Trafficking, facing 30 years in State Prison with a minimum mandatory sentence of 7 years in State Prison. After taking all of the necessary depositions, ... and filing the proper motions I was able to convince the State Attorney's Office to dismiss and drop the Drug Trafficking charge to a much lesser charge, and get a sentence of only: time served and one year of regular probation. On the day of her change of plea she was sentenced, and had dinner with her family later that same day. One should always keep in mind that every case has different facts and circumstances, and different results. However, using the proper strategy in each case, together with true care, knowledge of the law, and experience does make a difference!
