Client was injured while performing his duties as a camera man/sound technician on New Years day when he slipped and fell injuring his back at the Citrus Bowl on New Years Day. Carrier provided minima ... l treatment, then after agreeing to all treatment provided by a doctor that it authorized refused to pay for a recommended surgical procedure. Judge of Compensation Claims ordered that the carrier pay for the surgery and for lost wages. Carrier appealed. Appellate Court and subsequently the Florida Supreme Court affirmed the Order of the Judge of Compensation Claims.
