State v. Boyd
N/AOUTCOME: Not Guilty
The case focused on witness testimony from law enforcement. I met with the client and took extensive and detailed notes. An investigation of the scene of the arrest led to additional information that ... was useful to the case. Prior to trial, I was allowed to question an officer who assisted in the arrest. Leading to the discovery of a second person who was not listed in the police report. That second person involved was critical in attacking the credibility of law enforcement testimony by use of their own words which is much more effective in the impeachment process. After a short deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty. My client left the courtroom with his fiancee vindicated and went on to complete his schooling. I am proud of Mr. Boyd.
