I was able to get the District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee to reverse the trial court's ruling, which meant thousands of dollars for my client. The parties had signed an agreement for my client to ... receive 50% share of the other parties retirement income. Several years later, the retired military member filed a motion to change her percentage to less than 27%...Even though she lost at the trial level the first time, she won on appeal, and then won when the case went back to the trial court for reconsideration. I was also able to get her an award of all of her attorney's fees as well.
