Orlando, Fla. - January 26, 2021 - The Health Law Firm announced that one of its health law attorneys, George F. Indest III recently obtained a favorable decision in a Department of Health complaint ... investigation of its client, a physical therapist. The Department of Health received a complaint that the therapist allegedly was fraudulently billing patients for services not rendered, and carrying out other activities that violated the therapist's practice act. Mr. Indest successfully presented evidence to and obtained a finding of no probable cause and dismissal of charges from the Probable Cause Panel of the Board of Physical Therapy. Mr. Indest stated: "We expend a great deal of time and effort in putting together a comprehensive presentation for the Probable Cause Panel in each case to try to obtain a dismissal. If the case is dismissed, it is never on the provider's license."
