Please do yourself a favor and hire any attorney other than this guy. I was very uninformed about the divorce process and actually thought that this guy was doing a great job for a while. It wasn't until I contacted the court and found out that my ex-wife's attorney had filed motions that he didn't e...ven respond to. He also charged me to go to trial and then told me that we would gain nothing by going to trial it was only later I found out that that would have been my only opportunity to have my ex-wife move back from Albany. This guy has an amazing speech when you first go into consult with him and then does absolutely nothing after that. Please don't make the same mistake I did

Steven Klein is an excellent attorney. I came to him for a consultation regarding a divorce. He came highly recommended and I soon saw why. Being in the legal field and knowing many attorneys, I chose to look at AVVO to search for another attorney who did not know me. Thank God I found him. He represented me for an early emancipation of my son followed by a Contempt Motion against me by my ex. I found Mr. Klein when I was faced with a serious issue in family court. My nerves were shot from this event. During my first sit down with Mr. Klein he was able to calm me down and explain to me what could happen and the action he will be taking. Watching Mr. Klein take control of the courtroom duri...ng my first appearance gave me a comfort I have never had before in a lawyer. At trial, the outcome was by far better than I ever hoped for! I wish I had Mr. Klein years ago for my custody battle. I'm pretty sure my outcome would of been drastically different. I was so pleased with his service, I rehired him immediately and began the process for a custody modification. I truly do now feel like I have a fighting chance.

Like the title says, Steve Klein is the best. He handled my divorce and just recently, another issue related to the divorce. Steve knows the law, specifically family law. He does not give you false hope and set unrealistic expectations to make more $. He's very sharp and exhibits confidence in the c...ourtroom. I recommend him to anyone who asks for a lawyer!
