Biography
Steven Michael Melley was born in Rhinebeck and attended Red Hook public schools, followed by Colgate University where he graduated with honors. After Tulane University Law School, Steve took and passed the New York bar exam and began as an associate in private practice locally with Woody Klose in Red Hook. In 1983 he started this law firm and limited his practice to injury law - representing seriously injured adults, children, seniors in all manner of cases. He has successfully practiced in state and federal courts ever since in and around the Hudson Valley, from Manhattan to Albany principally in Dutchess, Ulster and surrounding counties; and occasionally out of state on an individual case basis.
