Kerri Leslie Yamashita

Kerri Yamashita has practiced law since 1998. She has represented the People of the State of New York as a special prosecutor for thirteen years. She prosecutes thousands of cases each year, including taxation matters, agriculture and markets cases, environmental violations, vehicle and traffic law matters, harassment and disorderly conduct charges and other penal law violations. Additionally, she acts as counsel for the petitioner on extreme risk protection orders (ERPOs). She handles trials, pretrial conferences, dispute resolution, discovery, motion practice, and hearings.
