Mr. Schlenker took my case at an exorbitant fixed (not to exceed) rate, and reminded me on countless occasions thereafter how it was a bargain for the amount of work involved. He joked (or not?) with the DA's assistant about their skillfulness, offering him a job, and failed to follow through with de...fending the case with the truth, instead going off in a direction that was more of a rebuttal of the prosecutors fabrication of events, and consequently, a waste of time and money. No integrity. No 'people skills'. Lacks professionalism.

Dennis was the calming factor in a very difficult time in my life. I was facing a class c felony charge ( 3-5 years). The case took more than 2 years to end, ( I stress patience to all!!) With a result of no jail time and a very low misdemeanor charge. As far as legal fees, Dennis was almost too fai...r! Best lawyer in Albany, hands down. I'm glad I trusted him with my freedom and would recommend him to anyone in need. Oh, lastly. .. his taste in cigars is superb!

Had a criminal case that involved a lot of research and time. He told me going that my case was a very very good case for trial. The case went to trial and he smooth talked his way through a 2 week trail with witnesses that were ranging from prostitutes to lying mothers of prostitutes and still w...hen all was said and done. The jury came back with a guilty verdict and he still said he was gonna take care of it with bail pending appeal and the appeal itself. He lost the bail pending appeal motion and then said that was nothing it's the appeal that is really important. A year and half later with the help of another attorney, the appeal was shot down. He wanted to take it to supreme court but jail time was almost up so we let it go. He's not a good trail lawyer. I was given a plea deal he told me the case was so good to try in a trial so I took him up on it.

I hired Dennis for my criminal case, and his promises were endless and and all the 50 yrs of experience the word lawyer for him stands for liar!!! He screwed up my case so bad that to this day I'm paying for it and thinking how of a person he is to take advantage of people who are hopeless and never ...been in a law enforcement problem. So he just Makes you rely on him and making you think he is on your side!!! Never trust him!!!
