On March 30, 2020, the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated an employment discrimination lawsuit filed by our firm against a major international retailer. The federal appellate court ... agreed with attorneys Ron Sikes and Alan Bent that "[t]he district court abused its discretion in striking the statements in the . . . affidavits." As a result, the case was referred back to the trial court for trial -- and was ultimately settled.
