Elizabeth Bradford

During an extensive career as in-house counsel to a major convention center I was responsible for servicing all its legal needs, including reviewing and drafting contracts, advising management on employment issues, and insuring corporate ethics and governance compliance. At the same time, I developed a desire to work with small businesses like the many that fill the exhibition halls during major shows.

In pursuit of that dream, I joined a not-for-profit where I worked with a broad array of New York City micro-businesses, from home-based food businesses and makers of natural beauty products to app developers and marketing consultants. I developed a thorough understanding of their businesses and legal needs and matched them with attorney volunteers at major law firms, and I worked closely with an in-house team that provided clients with financial management skills and marketing advice.

Building on my experience with entrepreneurs, I created my own firm to serve the needs of small business owners in my Hudson Valley community.
