At the DA’s office, I focused on prosecuting DWI cases, both alcohol and drug. I successfully handled DWI trials as the lead trial attorney for the District Attorney’s Office, from inception to verdict, many times. I conducted countless unique and complicated DWI pre-trial hearings; I reviewed, analyzed and assessed hundreds of DWI cases throughout my career. These cases included either Alcohol or drugs, or a mixture (drugs, lab reports and cases I handled included Cocaine, Fentanyl, LSD, Marijuana, prescription drugs such as Adderall, Xanax and more). My work involved interviews of police investigators, state troopers, patrol officers, EMS, civilian witnesses and more; review of body worn camera footage, review and assessment of field sobriety test results, breath test results, breathalyzer calibration records, review of 911 audio recordings and more. I know what to look for at every step of a DWI investigation.

As a skilled trial attorney, I know that my expertise will assure my clients feel safe, protected, and aware of their rights, including the pros and cons of their potential options. That includes taking a case to trial. I accept a limited number of cases to focus my expertise on, and these cases will get all of my attention – I have no secretary, there is no “of counsel.” I’m a former prosecutor who handled crimes in New York after major criminal justice reform in 2020 – this change affected criminal laws and bail holding status, but also how police agencies operate, collect and store data when it comes to body worn camera footage, digital recordings, visual recordings and other calibration records. My special knowledge in these areas will be helpful so that my clients can make the best choices at every step throughout the DWI case process.
