Obtaining citizenship can present a challenge when one has a certain medical or psychological condition, or has simply not learned enough English to pass the exam. There are exceptions that may apply, ... and we have successfully obtained citizenship for many clients using these methods. Many people do not know that even though they turned 21, that petition filed for them or their parents may still result in relatively quick permanent residence. Or that the Western Hemisphere Priority ... Date program could help them get residence much faster than they would under the current preference category timeframes. Or that their undocumented spouse, for whom no 245(i) petition has been filed, may still be able to adjust status with a 245(i) beneficiary spouse as a dependent. Some people do not even realize they are covered by 245(i) based on a prior marriage or a petition an uncle or grandparent filed a long time ago. These can be complex issues, but we have been successful in getting lawful permanent residence for our clients using these methods and others.
