When the home was sold, the amount reflected on the payoff was incorrectly calculated. Mr. maisner relied upon the payoff and transferred hos sales proceeds to his retirement home. After closing the ... lender accepted teh payoff and days later demanded an additional $40,000.00. Mara Alyson fought against the bank to ensure the bank honored its payoff letter. The bank threatened to sue his retirement home and have him displaced.
