A homeowner experienced financial difficulties and was forced to file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Thereafter, the homeowner remained in the property for 3 years mortgage free as the mortgage loan was disc ... harged via the Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The lender filed suit. Business owner was forced to sell his million dollar company. The potential buyers were being extremely difficult in the negotiation process. If the business owner did not sell within the time frame provided by the franchisor, then the franchisor would terminate the franchise agreement and convert the stores to corporate stores.
