Plaintiffs alleged securities and real estate fraud by defendants, Jeff Terry's clients, the principal ... promoters and developers of a multi-unit condominium conversion project in Sonoma County. In addition, plaintiffs also sued two attorneys and a law firm that performed legal services for the general partner. All defendants denied any wrongdoing. The case was filed in 2008 and tried to a jury beginning in November 2013. After an approximate two month-long trial, a complete defense verdict was rendered in February 2014. After post trial motions were argued and decided against plaintiffs, the verdict was appealed. The appeal was abandoned on March 20, 2015.
