My elder law practice consists of disability planning (through Powers of Attorney, primarily) and estate planning (through lifetime transfers, wills and trusts).

I have experience in probate (when a will exists) and intestate administration (when there's no will). I also have a lot of experience in will contests and other types of Surrogate's Court litigation.

Not everybody needs a will. Sometimes my clients can meet all of their estate-planning goals by changing the way they hold title to assets or by lifetime gifting directly or through trusts.
