Due to confidentiality, the true names and amount cannot be revealed. An elderly client was pumping gasoline, and alleged that the pump malfunctioned causing gasoline to spill. Client then slipped on ... the gasoline and fractured her hip. The Defendant absolutely refused to accept any responsibility and blamed the elderly woman as not knowing what she was doing. However, due to aggressive deposition taking, and litigation tactics by our Office, the case settled one week before trial.

Clients suffered significant hurricane damage as a result of Hurricane Wilma. They first went to another law firm that did not obtain the right amount for their damages. The client then hired a Publi ... c Adjuster who did not get them any more money for their loss. Frustrated and just days before the Statute of Limitations to sue would expire, they hired me to file suit and go after the Insurance Company for their damages. After suit was filed, the Insurance Company finally settled and paid almost double their prior two damage payments. In the interim, the clients almost lost their home due to the horrific damage and inability to obtain financing to pay off their balloon mortgage. Due to aggressive deposition taking, I was able to make the Insurance Company fold at the deposition table just in time to negotiate and pay off the lender, and fix and save their home.
