Appellate Court reversed the trial court's decision to impute income to Husband in determining his alimony obligations. The trial court did not have sufficient evidence from which it properly could imp ... ute income of $75,000 per year. Husband was terminated without cause; he did not leave his job voluntarily. Thus, the trial court could not conclude that imputation of income was appropriate under the two-part analysis articulated above. In addition, Husband was making efforts to find new employment, such as sending his resume to a job agency and volunteering for a company he thought might hire him. Wife did not carry her burden because she did not provide evidence that jobs were available.
