One of the first cases testing the 1st Amendment rights of attorneys on the internet, the story made it to the front page of the NY Times, Sunday ed., A Broward judge was shortening the time from Ar ... raignment to Trial to just 1 week - and was getting away with it. Although respectfully objecting in court, colorful words were chosen for a blog at what appeared to be an attempt to force defendants to waive their speedy trial rights.
