The Police encountered my client at someones door. He was intoxicated and believed it was his girlfriends apartment. The police told him that it wasn't her place and were going to take him there. They ... kept asking my client for his name, he refused to give it then gave a false joke name. I gave the prosecutor a memorandum of law stating that they had to be either investigating a crime or serving process on my client to charge him with this offense.
