Young child got into the apartment complex gym through an open door. While playing with in the complex gym the child's arm got caught in the belt to the treadmill. The injury resulted in a broken ar ... m that required surgery and friction burns to the arm requiring a skin graft. The case was tried before a jury on the issue of Attractive Nuisance. The jury returned a verdict of $2.6 million. The case was appealed and the appellate court affirmed with a PCA.
