Biography
I have been practicing law in New York for 34 years, mostly in the areas of personal injury and criminal law (both as prosecutor and defense attorney), during which I have always adhered to certain principles and practices:
1. Never lie, cheat, or steal or let anyone associated with you do so.
2. Treat your client and all others with kindness and respect at all times.
3. Work hard and do the best job you can for your client.
For 16 years, I was the President of the Ulster County Criminal Defense Bar Association, and I have been a member of the Ulster County Bar Association for the past 34 years. I am also a member of the New York State Bar Association and its personal injury and criminal law sections.
For 7 years, I was the Chief Assistant District Attorney for the County of Ulster, and I am an adjunct instructor in criminal law at SUNY Ulster.
I am the author of an article entitled "The Boston Massacre Trials," which was published in the July/August 2013 issue of the New York State Bar Association Journal. Much of my spare time is spent in the study of American history, particularly famous criminal cases.
