My client was rearended on a city street at a relatively low speed and sustained neck injuries that affected his ability to continue working at his job. The neck injury, even after surgery, caused a lo ... ss of dexterity in his dominant hand that was just enough to keep him from returning to work as a copy machine repair person. In addition to his pain & suffering, he sustained a future wage loss. He was compensated for his injuries with a policy limits settlement of $100,000 from the at-fault driver's insurance and and a further settlement of $300,000 in underinsured motorist coverage. He then got some vocational training and successfully changed careers. I'm very pleased that I was able to recover a total of $400,000 for my client in a low-impact, rear end accident.
