Child Support Modification

OUTCOME: Child support was reduced and my client could work on getting a better job while providing support for his children in accordance with the level of pay he could actually earn at that time.

My client had lost his good job in the economic downturn and could not afford to pay child support as he once could. The mother would not agree to any modification at all and the case went to trial. ... After hearing evidence of my client's efforts to find employment and the lack of good jobs available, the judge reduced child support to the level a minimum wage earner should pay.
