OUTCOME: Amazing Results!

We are doing are best to post results with anonymity, which may be confirmed. Although we attempt to do every week, we may not get to it, so please forgive us: Week in review 06/03/2019-06/07/2019: ... (1) In a case involving a felony charged, we successfully convinced the State Attorney through our investigation to reduce the charge to a misdemeanor, a huge benefit to the client. (2) Obtained an agreement for a client where a misdemeanor charge will be fully dismissed by the State following the completion of certain conditions, thanks to the hard work of our investigation and presentation of defenses. (3) Resolution of speeding infractions for multiple clients where the clients will not receive points, did not have to plead guilty, will not have to attend school, and will not be subject to an increase in insurance premium. (4) Defended a matter for an individual client being sued by a major insurance company, as a result of the hearing this week, based on lack of service defenses, we were able to prevent the case from moving forward, an excellent result for the client. (5) Resolution of a workers compensation matter to the client’s benefit, wherein the client did not have to resign (which is not typical), and is being compensated well following complete payment of all medical charges and lost time from work. (6) Defended a significant traffic infraction wherein the client was accused of traveling more than 30 mph over the speed limit in such a way that the fine was reduced to the minimum, and, in addition, client will not receive points, did not have to plead guilty, will not have to attend school, and will not be subject to an increase in insurance premium (which is very difficult to accomplish in a 30 over case). (7) Reinstated the license for a client to better defend a criminal traffic matter. (8) A complete dismissal of a misdemeanor for a client, who desperately needed this resolution for accompanying immigration matters. Amazing results this week!

In a complicated immigration case, I took on a case involving a mother and child who had petitioned years ago to adjust on the basis of a marriage to a US citizen. When it came time to remove the cond ... itions of a temporary residency, immigration launched a huge investigation to investigate the legitimacy of the marriage. The case was taking too long and I was hired to step in and get results. After I observed that the clients qualified to adjust status under a different category, I sent out petitions for both the mother and son under this category. Initally, immigration denied me the relief, however, after an appeal of the mother's case, and the appellate board realizing that I was correct, the mother's decision was overturned and she was granted permanent residency. Today, we had a hearing to properly adjust the minor as well as a derivative beneficiary and were successful again.

OUTCOME: Victory

Trial held on 8-22-2017 - Facts concerned an individual who hired a licensed electrical contractor to replace inside and outside electrical boxes mandated by the city. The project later turned out to ... be bigger than initially anticipated after the utility company became involved, mandating certain requirements. The individual refused to pay the additional cost to expand the scope of the project, my client offered a complete refund. The individual sued the electrical contractor for all money he had to pay a subsequent contractor. The electrical contractor was represented by my firm and we received a favorable verdict. The case was decided on issues of meeting of the minds, time of the essence, and other contractual principles.
