These charges are a good example of how law enforcement officers do not understand the law. Someone has to be "disturbed" other than the police officer. My client got into a scuffle with bouncers at ... the door of a night club but no one was disturbed, including the bouncers that did not want to press charges. It took a lot of discussions but the State Attorney's Office finally agreed with me and dropped the charge against my client.
