OUTCOME: Asylum Grant

I was able to receive a grant of Asylum from Moldova based upon political opinion. The tricky issue with this case is that there were elections in Moldova after the Respondent came to the United State ... s and the opposition party that the Respondent was in became the majority party. The IJ forced us to brief the issue and after a substantive brief, the IJ determined there was not a material change in Moldova and granted.
