$10 Million Dollar Federal Fraud Case Dismissed

I represented the ring leader in a $10 million dollar federal fraud case. Many of the other defendants plead guilty and were sentenced before I was hired by my client. The government had been tracking ... my client abroad for years before they apprehended him at the airport upon entry to the US. Client had three prior attorneys before me and he was very unhappy with all three so I knew I had my work cut out for me. After extensive research, motion writing and oral arguments I was successful in obtaining a dismissal based on speedy trial violations by the federal government. Client was charged with more than $10 million in credit fraud. I was the fourth defense attorney on the case, my client was unhappy with all of his previous representatives. After filing a defense mo ... tion to dismiss based on speedy trial violations, the US Attorney dismissed the indictment before the judge issued her ruling on the motion. Client was released from custody immediately thereafter.

My client had a strong domestic violence case, strong because I knew it was a winner based on the obvious lies and inconsistencies that th ... e alleged victim made up to get my client arrested.
