Carolyn Snyder Lemmon

More than two decades of experience practicing law have armed Carolyn with the background needed to aggressively and effectively represent spouses, parents, grandparents in a wide range of legal matters. As a Senior Counsel at Tully Rinckey PLLC, Carolyn concentrates her practice on family and matrimonial law, handling cases involving divorce, separation, annulment, enforcement of divorce decrees, spousal maintenance, equitable distribution, child custody, child support, orders of protection, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She also handles matters involving religious corporations.

Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Carolyn was of counsel to Cooper Erving & Savage LLP in Albany, where she practiced family and matrimonial law and religious corporations in addition to real estate law. She worked for state government for 33 years before entering private practice, serving as an attorney for the New York State Workers' Compensation Board, a contract negotiator for the New York State Division of Budget, and an analyst for the New York State Governor's Office of Employee Relations. She also served an assistant county attorney for the Albany County Attorney's Office.

Carolyn’s work for Capital Region religious organizations extends beyond assisting them nonprofit corporate governance issues. She served as a Presbytery of Albany moderator. She is currently an Albany Rural Cemetery trustee, Fort Orange Club trustee, Capital South Campus Center Advisory Committee member, and board member of Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region. She has sat on the boards of directors of Habitat for Humanity, New Visions Foundation and St. Catherine's Center for Children.
