N/AOUTCOME: Granted 9th Circuit Relief
I came to this country to escape a civil war in my native Guatemala some 18 years ago. I married a United States Citizen and had been regularly paying a "notario" to take care of my immigration issues. ... I thought everything was ok with my immigration status, but then I was picked up, placed in detention, and was told I would be "shipped back to Guatemala". In jail, I heard of a Lawyer that worked hard to get people like me a second chance. My family called the Law Offices of Arthur S. Charchian, and within 24 hours, I was sitting across from an attorney at the Lancaster jail who was listening to my story. After investigating my case, my lawyer "Don Arturo" found that the notary had messed up my immigration applications and that I had a standing deportation order. Long story short, within two weeks, I was out on bail and within two and a half years my case went all the way up to the Ninth Circuit and my attorneys won an important battle! Now I am working on getting my green card! And, yes Mr. Charchian's office is handling that too.
