Cynthia Jean Laclair

Cynthia J. LaClair, Esq., (formerly Cynthia J. Tippins) has been engaged in a private law practice limited to complex matrimonial and custody litigation for twenty-seven (27) years, since her 1988 graduation from Albany Law School. She began as a law clerk, then Associate with the Law Firm of Timothy M. Tippins in Troy, New York and became partner in Tippins & Cornaire, PLLC. In subsequent years, she formed her own private firm and was partner in Harris, Conway & Donovan, PLLC from 2009 until September 1, 2016 when she and Lauren K. DeLuca, Esq. formed LaClair & DeLuca, PLLC.

Ms. LaClair is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and lectured for several years for the MatLaw Seminar continuing legal education program, as well as, New York State Bar Association programs. She is a member of the Albany County Bar Association and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association.

Ms. LaClair is a 1985 summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and resides in Brunswick, New York with her husband, John LaClair.
