Stacey Bucci

Stacey Bucci is a Founder, General Counsel, and Chief Legal Officer of Liberty Legal Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the rule of law, protecting due process, and defending equal protection under the Constitution for all Americans. She is a fearless litigator who single-handedly fought for a plaintiff’s rights in federal court against a multi-billion-dollar private institution, winning every key motion, clearing the case for trial, and settling the case.

Stacey has been practicing law since 2011. Her practice includes administrative law, property law, business law, and civil litigation. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong research and writing skills, and ability to translate complex legal concepts for diverse audiences. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, New York, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and United States Court of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits.

For Liberty Legal Foundation, Stacey is responsible for the following: Provide legal and strategic counsel to the corporation. Oversee compliance, risk management, and legal services across the organization. Draft, review, and approve legal documents and contracts. Advise on transactional, programmatic, and regulatory issues related to the organization and client representation. Direct legal affairs, including policy interpretation and partnership with external counsel. Ensure adherence to ethical standards in legal services and advocacy work. Represent the corporation in proceedings.
