Biography
The Law Office of Geri Pomerantz was started by Attorney Pomerantz in May 2007. Geri is the sole proprietor of the firm, and the only attorney. Geri has been practicing law since 1988. She is an experienced attorney in several practice areas.
The mission of the firm is to seek justice for its clients, and provide high quality legal representation in a manner that is compassionate, ethical, and affordable. The practice is focused on family and matrimonial law. Geri represents people in all family court matters, divorce and separation, adoption, and other family issues. Geri litigates on behalf of clients in Family and Supreme courts in several counties, including but not limited to Rensselaer, Albany, Columbia, Schenectady and Greene. Geri is also a member of the Collaborative Divorce Association of the Capital District, and has represented several clients in alternative dispute resolution.
Attorney Pomerantz also provides legal services concerning selected civil rights and administrative issues. Amongst other things, Geri is a court appointed attorney for children in Columbia and Rensselaer counties.
