Do yourself a favor, just find someone else. She is not a trial attorney and unable to effectively represent Her clients in front of a judge. It's pretty clear the judges don't like her much either. The judge flat out told me (on a day that Elizabeth didn't show up for my court date) that she had fax...ed over to the judge a very harsh complaint about the law guardian (the law guardian was awesome and clearly on my side) Elizabeth could have done some serious damage to my case of I kept her. She was a $60k mistake, but better late than never. I'm giving you fair warning. Find someone else to represent you.

I hired Liz Harrington to handle my very difficult divorce. After over 1 1/2 years in the courts, and over $30,000, I realized that she cared more about the money and didn't have my best interests in mind. She would get annoyed if I asked her to explain something, would not return my calls and would ...not sit with me while we were in the courthouse. She would come out of court after meeting with the judge, wouldn't get anywhere, and would always comment that it was the "boys club" in there. I had to find another lawyer, who handled the rest of my divorce with integrity and honesty. DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER! I found out that someone I know also used her for their divorce and went through the same thing and had to find another lawyer.

I used Elizabeth for my second divorce. I wish I would have used her for my first. The first time I got divorce I used a popular divorce firm who's fees were astronomical and did not get a fair settlement. This time when I used Elizabeth, she fought for me and my children. Not only did I get a gr...eat settlement, but she found out that my husband had more assets then I knew about. Therefore, raising the amount that I got. Her legal fees were fair and well paid for. Would absolutely use her again, if I ever got married/divorced again.

Elizabeth Harrington is interested in the size of her wallet, not her clients best interest. Keep an eye on the details of what she presents to you and realize that settlements are written with the intent of you having to use her again and again. She started off ok, but when my case became more invol...ved and had to go to trial, she rushed through the process and missed many key points. Maybe she had another vacation planned ... I'm not sure. But she certainly seemed preoccupied and cost me a lot of time with my son. Example ... I have sole custody but am not entitled to vacation time with the child. The child's father was ordered to go to rehab and take a drug test every 3 months and somehow he gets vacation, holiday, and birthdays with him every year. The way the order was written, I'm actually not entitled to these things. Although she presented it to me as if I was. Please beware and get a second legal opinion before allowing her to write any stipulations of settlement for you. I paid a pretty penny for a very flawed settlement.

She is not a dedicated lawyer, just look to take the money without any kind of effort to defend the interest of her client. If those interest are easy going, in other word, if the other lawyer won't put pressure on her, she might be good, but if a case need dedication and she need to confront the ot...her lawyer with a quick resolution in favor of her client interest, she doesn't. Unfortunately Mrs. Harrington poor action and resolution mess up my case and she charge me a lot money just to be doing everything in benefit of the other part. I don't recommend her at all.
