Mr. Gabriele, (Nick, as we were quickly on a first-name basis) saved me $2,500 upon my first visit with him. As we were initially consulting, I took a phone call from my realtor who informed me that the sellers of a home I desperately wanted needed me to come up on my bid. A bit panicky, I blurted ou...t , "Okay, $5,000". Nick said to me, "No. Offer $2,500", so I did. My bid was accepted!
