We had our closing today with Asaf. As first time home buyers we were anxious and overwhelmed about the overall closing process, but his patience and simple way of explaining everything eased our minds. Asaf thoroughly explained all of our closing paperwork and made sure we completely understood ever...ything we signed. He was patient and respectful of our time and we did not feel rushed at all. We had an additional issue that came up the day of closing and Asaf took care of it all easily. We had an excellent closing experience as first time home buyers because Asaf did such an incredible job. Thank you! I have dealt with many attorneys as I am a real estate broker myself . I hired Asaf German as my attorney for the sale of my house. Asaf only spoke to me once in begining when we met and then dissapeared. He had Elizabeth from his staff his paralegal handle what's supoose to be his job. His paraleg...al was absolutely clueless on what she is doing. Due to Asaf and his staff being careless and incompetent the closing of my house was delayed by 3 months. I had gotten really frustrated so I had asked his paralegal Elizaberh to tell Asaf to call me . She said he will but he never did . After a week when I called back I was furious then I was finally connected to Asaf. When I asked him questions like when are closing he was clueless he said he does not know he will get almost the details from his paralegal . Finally at the day of closing Asaf was there only bechase the closing took place in his own office . Asaf German did not even have the correct details of his client which is me . He didnt know that the house had a sellers concession of $20,000. He came with all the wrong numbers peppered by his paralegal . Then he just likes to blame the other party stating they nvr notified his paralegal. He also has a huge attitude problem where he wants to act a big shot and is entirely racist if your not of his own background. Last but not the least his office prepared something called an cooperating agreement for my LLC. Since it was me and my partner who were selling the house we needed to have an operating agreement which we didnt . So Asaf charged us $750 for that agreement that was only 2 pages which only stated me and my partner have a 50% each stake in the LLC. I consulted 4 other attorneys who said I should not be paying more than 150$. He still at closing took 750$ despite me not approving of that amount. I recommend everyone to stay away from Asaf German who entirely relies on his paralegal to do all his work never reaches out to you and is absolutely clueless as an attorney .

I do not recommend this attorney. Very hard to get in touch with. Only saw him the time we signed the contract. He did not show up at the closing. Good guy but unless you have a smooth closing its difficult since you are basically on your own most of the time. Other than that depending on your needs,... might be good. Would love to give him 5 stars since he is very motivating initially.

I recently worked with Asaf on the closing of my first home on Long Island. The experience from the beginning was great. Asaf answered all questions and walked me through the entire process. Asaf and his entire staff was a pleasure to deal with. They were always there with any questions or concern I ...had. Asaf and his staff was able to get me to close in less than one month! If you want someone who will look out after your interest and your interest only this is the guy you want. Five Stars across the board! Thank you Asaf!

I would definintely recommend Asaf German and his associate, Gerard Andrade. Both were fully prepared, very knowledgeable in real property law, responsive, and professionally behaved. The fees were considerably lower than those my family was charged by a different lawyer several years ago (for a cl...osing) but the service was much, much better. At the earlier closing, the lawyer's figures were off by $100,000! This time around, not only were Gerard's numbers perfect, but he was the only lawyer in the room to have precisely correct information. The other attorneys at the table all had minor errors in their calculations, and they called on Gerard to assist them in arriving at the correct figures, which he graciously agreed to do. I felt that he was the only one in the room fully in control of the situation. I was very pleased that he was the one representing my interest. That type of security is a wonderful thing to have at a stressful event such as a closing, where things often go wrong. In fact, there was a glitch attributed to a technical problem with the other party's bank, and Gerard gave calm assurance that it would be corrected, which it was. He even offered his contact information for further assurance later in the day. The initial consultation and contract signing, which was handled by Asaf, was equally professional.
