Emily Bermudez

She is bilingual in Spanish and English and specializes in Matrimonial and Family Law Attorney, Personal Injury Attorney, Criminal and Traffic, Real Estate and Divorce Mediations.

She has extensive experience in the courtroom and has represented her client's to their satisfaction for years.  Emily is a staunch advocate and zealously represents all of her clients. 

She began her legal career in 2006 in private practice with a sole practictioner who specialized in criminal law.  She immediatley introduced personal injury and real estate to help convert this criminal practice to a general practice firm.  In 2013 Emily began working with a JRMGT Attorneys, in their matrimonial department.  In 2020, she opened up her own firm during the pandemic to better serve her clients. 

She obtained her Juris Doctorate at Touro Law School.  Prior to that she obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science with SUNY Stony Brook, and her Associates in Applied Science degree at Sage Jr. College of Albany.  She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Employment Law, The American Bar Association Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law.  She was recognized as a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and consistently on the Dean's List.  Emily has been certfied by the Center for Mediation and Training in Divorce Mediation by the Academy of Professional Mediators. 

She is currently a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association and New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.
