Danielle M. Papa

My son was represented by Danielle Papa in a drug case. When she takes on your case you know she is invested in the outcome for both the client and the family and how it can affect their future. She knows that this is frightening and helps you understand the legal system and know what to expect when ...you walk into the courtroom. She makes you feel that it is not just another case for her; this was a way to seek counsel and rehabilitation so our son would survive his addiction. She found the best solution for him to find recovery while serving his time. She was our advocate when we were unsure if he would even have a future. If he had not found Danielle he would not have received proper help and advice that he required. We had experienced other lawyers on prior charges that did not respond to us and left him without counsel when needed. Three years later Danielle still finds the time to answer any questions we might have about simple matters. Danielle was professional and did exactly what we agreed on. I had multiple felonies I committed due to a drug problem. Danielle was able to get me in a drug program I recently completed and had my charges reduced to one misdemeanor! I have since then turned my life around and am back on track. In April of 2015 I was charged with DUI and possession. To be honest I was pretty scared about the long term consequences in regards to my recordand of course my freedom. I interviewed 5 lawyers and all had various pricing points. I did not pick Danielle because of the price even though comparativel...y she was reasonable. I picked Danielle because for a few reasons. First she listened and asked intelligent well thought out questions. Second she reviewed various scenarios and WE agreed on what would be best for my particular situation. Third she laid out out a comprehensive yet realistic strategy on how to obtain that goal. Finally and perhaps most important she has empathy. Danielle did not judge or preach. She at no point made me feel less than because I had a problem and admittedly I had a serious problem. I have had very frank conversations with Danielle since retaining her and she was always supportive and I would even go so far to say proud. Ultimatelyat this point I would consider her a friend and I take that word very seriously. Yet in regard to her legal prowess, I followed her suggestions to a tee which in turn gave her the ammunition to tenaciously argue my case over the period of over a year. My judge was not known for leniency yet Danielle NEVER settled. At one point even I was going settle but she refused and for that I will be eternally grateful. If you are reading this review clearly you have an issue. My suggestion is two fold. First hire Danielle she will not disappoint. Second, listen and ACT upon her suggestions, not only will it help your case it may save your life...it saved mine. To sum up my experience, I expected somewhere between 6-8 months in county a felony DUI AND misdemeanor possession of heroin. I received a misdemeanor DUI and a disorderly conduct with no jail time and to boot I'm 7 months clean and I've never been happier. To me this is no just a review but a thank you letter to someone who made a massive positive impact in my life and again I could not be more grateful. Michael L
