Eryn Yee Truong

Eryn Y. Truong chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology group.  Her practice encompasses a wide range of intellectual property matters including trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets, privacy rights, licensing disputes, and domain name dispute resolution.  Eryn manages trademark portfolios for national retail stores and manufacturers.  She is well versed in conducting infringement analyses and regularly counsels clients on potential or pending infringement problems.

A Silicon Valley native, Eryn also litigates intellectual property matters and complex business litigation in courts on both coasts.  She successfully represented a photographer in a copyright infringement lawsuit, resulting in a $1.32 million jury verdict.  The case was one of the first ruled in favor of a photographer under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.  Other noteworthy litigations include conducting a high stakes trade secret trial for an emerging medical device company in Delaware Chancery Court as well as obtaining a verdict against sub-brokers on RICO claims in the Agape Ponzi scheme litigation.

Eryn also serves as outside counsel for a major retailer, managing their local counsel and the direction of their litigation across the United States and abroad.
