Katie Reilly

Katie H. Reilly, Esq. is an experienced attorney who focuses her practice on elder law, Medicaid and asset protection planning, estate planning, and special needs planning. With a compassionate and strategic approach, Katie helps families navigate some of life’s most important and challenging decisions — from preserving assets and ensuring long-term care to creating thoughtful plans that provide peace of mind for the future.

Katie takes pride in developing personalized legal solutions that protect both the financial and personal well-being of her clients. She works closely with individuals and families to understand their unique needs, helping them secure care, maintain eligibility for important benefits, and safeguard their legacy. Her deep understanding of Medicaid and asset protection law allows her to guide clients through complex planning scenarios with confidence and clarity.

Prior to joining Futterman Lanza, LLP, Katie was an attorney at Atlas Law Group, where she practiced elder law and estate planning and was part of the firm’s merger with Futterman Lanza. During law school, she externed for the Suffolk County Federal Court under the Honorable Judge Wexler, gaining valuable insight into judicial process and client advocacy.

Katie earned her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2015, where she served as Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta and participated in the Elder Law Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Adelphi University in 2011.

Outside of her legal work, Katie is active in her community and continuously advances her knowledge in the ever-evolving field of elder law. She enjoys reading, baking, spending time with her husband and children, and cheering on the New York Mets.
