Kevin J. Fitzgerald

Kevin has been my lawyer for the last 10 years. He is the most professional lawyer I have ever met. He is always available to take my phone calls. He has looked out for what’s best for me and my son. I have recommended Kevin to several of my friends and they all love him. If it was not for Kevin idk ...where my son and I would be. Thank you so much Kevin.

I hired Kevin for matrimonial representation and he never communicated with me, returned phone calls or emails, he made decisions without my consent and continually asked to be paid for his shoddy work. He did not listen to my needs or concerns, give me copies of motions and letters regarding my case... and did not say much during negotiations to get me a fair settlement. I never received bills from his office or knew how much was owed. I have experience with other matrimonial lawyers and can honestly say he is the worst one out there! The positive reviews written about him must be from family or friends of his. He did come highly recommended to me so I was very shocked and disappointed with how he handled my case and had to retain other counsel to complete my divorce case, but some of the damage Kevin had done was irreversible.

Mr Fitzgerald was retained to represent me in a divorce proceeding. During these proceedings I had many issues with his strategy during the case which were brought up but I figured at the time he was the expert in this field. Now after 13 years and becoming sick subsequent to being a first responder... and the investigation in the months after 9/11 I find the lack of forsight Mr Fitzgerald had to protect me "down the road" was seriously lacking. To wit the QDRO language not placed in my final divorce agreement. This to me is unconscionable. This now requires me to retain another attorney to hopefully fix what Mr Fitzgerald should have been well aware of. My personal experience 13 years ago was to never to recommend Mr Fitzgerald. Now with this issue that has come up it is evident to me this is an attorney not concerned with properly representing his clients, not only in the present but to forsee things that might crop up in the future and protect his client..
