Joelle is a dedicated divorce mediation lawyer, serving as a neutral third party to help clients reach mutually agreeable divorce settlements. Her approach prioritizes creating a supportive, respectful environment that leads to the best possible outcomes for both parties and their children.
Having personally experienced divorce mediation, Joelle offers a unique perspective as both a practitioner and a former client. This allows her to truly empathize with her clients and understand the emotional complexities they face during mediation.
After completing the forty-hour divorce mediation training program at The Center for Mediation and Training, Joelle founded Peacemaker Divorce Mediation with the mission of guiding clients through the divorce process in a cooperative, amicable, and cost-effective manner.
Joelle’s leadership extends beyond her practice. She is the Past President of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation (“NYSCDM”), former chair of the NYSCDM Nominating Committee, former co-chair of the NYSCDM Education Committee, and Program Manager for the Long Island Collaborative Divorce Professionals.
