After hiring Claudia, I found her most helpful in planning and obtaining the results I was hoping for,. I was able to keep my mom in her home with the care that she needed. She was both knowledgeable and extremely patient and tenacious in dealing with what needed to be done when we had run into several obstacles. She and her assistant always made themselves available by either phone or email whenever I needed assistance or had any questions. I feel she is an excellent attorney and have since recommended her to other family members who have found themselves in similar situations with loved ones.

I met with Claudia Salazar on the recommendation from another attorney about the status of my mother's legal applications and to try to receive help finalizing some decisions with the government. I was very disheartened up to the point of dealing with the sickness of my mom, on top of the the legal a...spects of her final preparations, before I met with her. I sat with her for about an hour and showed her mounds of paperwork: asset paperwork, returned documents and copies of previously asked for documents. She told me to try and relax as it is overwhelming for anyone to go through this ordeal without anything else complicating it. She took the documents and began to go through everything and make sure she had a comprehensive understanding of my mother's case. She would email or call if she had questions and walked me through the entire process. She began the contact with my mother's case worker and found she needed a few things from me regarding paperwork. Once again she walked me through the next aspect and communicated with me for the entire time of the process. Once she got a chance to speak with Medicaid, they were able to resolve the entire case within a matter of months. She called me to explain what paperwork I would be receiving in the mail and what the final steps would be to satisfy the governemt. The entire process took a little over 3 months, and to think we had been working on her paperwork for nearly a year before we started working with her. I would highly recommend her because she will stay in communication with you through the entire process. Unfortunately when we are in these situations we want to make sure everything is being take care of, while we are taking care of someone else.
