Thomas Jonathan Youllar

Tom began his legal career working for a large private law firm litigating a variety of lawsuits at both the state and federal levels. The areas of practice Tom handled included: Medical Malpractice, Product liability, Premises liability, Automobile liability, Intellectual property, Civil rights litigation, and Environmental law litigation.

Since then, Tom has worked for large corporations handling insurance law litigation, mostly Automobile and Premises liability litigation, with extensive jury trial experience. He has taken numerous jury verdicts in New York City, Long Island, and Westchester County. He also has handled Insurance litigation in Life, Annuity, Dental, Disability, and No-fault insurance. Tom has briefed and argued multiple appeals at the New York Appellate Division.

Academic highlights include Tom graduating with his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany in only three years while still attaining a double major. While at SUNY Albany he also published articles in the field of psychology/neuropsychology, and served on the Class Council. He earned his law degree at Hofstra University where he attended on an academic scholarship, edited and was published in the Hofstra Cyberlaw Forum law journal, and served on the Student Bar Association.

Tom is admitted in New York and New Jersey state courts. He is admitted to federal courts in New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, and the Southern district of New York. He is also a Patent Attorney admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
