John J. Grunert

John Grunert is a professional and articulate lawyer. I just closed on my first home and do not think it would have gone as smoothly had John not represented me. He took the time to explain every item of relevance and importance to me and answered every question revealing an insight and knowledge t...hat was reassuring (to say the least). His kindness and generosity were evident in the time and concern extended toward my close. Mr. Grunert made me feel as if I was his only client despite the reality of the situation. John's responses to my phone calls and emails were quick and efficient. His humor and humility put me at ease during what was an anxious time for me. A person would be fortunate to be represented by John Grunert.

I used John for both the sale of my home and the purchase of my new home. He was nothing but professional, kept me up to date with everything going on with both pending deals, and always returned all my calls in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend John, couldn't of asked for a better expe...rience!

John Grunert was recommended through my agent whom I now know are friends and they are mutually beneficial to each other. I used him as my purchase attorney. He was rude, never returned my emails or calls. He never informed me about anything and didn't care to help. At times it seemed as if he was on... the seller's side. I almost fired him and hired another attorney but the other attorney I wanted to hire told me I was too far in the process to change and would only cause problems. I should have just changed and dealt with the problems because I've never felt so cheated in my entire life. Don't believe the only positive review on this site because that is written by an extremely shady mortgage lender. They are mutually beneficial to each other, same as with my agent. The lender uses John as their closing agent to represent the lender and he gets paid for doing a 2nd job while also sitting in as my attorney....ridiculous. Agents and shady lenders recommend him while he helps them with their businesses but harm his clients. Stay away. I never write reviews online but my experience was so terrible that I had must share to warn others not to fall into the same fate as I did. If I can help at least one person not to use him, I will feel that I have done a Godly duty. He made my closing more difficult and worse than it should have been.

I have purchased and refinanced multiple properties. John Grunert was always professional and responsive to my calls. Myself being a real estate investor I have dealt with other attorneys and never received the excellent service that i received from Mr. Grunert. i felt it was necessary to leave this ...review as most people are quick to complain but not compliment. I highly recommend Mr. Grunert as an attorney.

While friendly and informative during the initial meetings, once the closing took place he was illusive and unresponsive. He delayed processes and ultimately did not follow through. In my opinion once he is paid he no longer cares, obviously the potential for repeat business with a real estate clos...ing is minimal so follow through is not a concern. Real Estate agent relationships are more valuable than client relationships.
