My ex husband and I decided to go ahead and file for an uncontested divorce back in Feb of 2012. In March and April my ex husband's behavior became unstable. I hired Karen in April of 2012 to submit paperwork asking the courts to put aside what was originally submitted and allowed for new paperwork b...ased on my ex husbands behavior. I wanted custody and child support changed. At our first meeting she appeared to know what she was talking about. Well nothing changed. The divorce went through in Sept of 2012. I called and asked her about it. All she said was that was a good thing, we can still ask for change. In January of 2013 we were suppose to have a sit down with my ex husband and his lawyer to discuss support, after sitting there for three hours and a no show from my ex husband and his lawyer, she finally came out and advised my to leave things the way they where as far as support went. She also advised me to hire legal aide for change of custody. I paid her 6000.00 and owe her another 5000 + for what I don't know. I went ahead and submitted paperwork to change custody and anything I had on him from March to Sept went out the window. I could only include his unstableness from when my divorce went through in Sept. Nothing has changed as far as custody or support, the only thing that has changed is that I am out 6000.00, lost my job and she keeps billing me for the 5000+.
